Challenge
When we were approached to work with Downtown Community Center, the biggest challenge they faced were outdated compliant accessibility standards. This caused visitor relying on wheelchairs and other transportation tools to be limited to experiencing all the community center had to offer.
Solution
Home 4 Sure conducted a full accessibility audit of the community center. Through our analysis we were able to pinpoint and tackle areas that were non-compliant with current accessibility standards and implement a plan that included wheelchair accessible entrances, tactile signage, and improved lighting. These improvements were made to make the community center a place where all visitors can enjoy without inconvenience.
Result
Now the community center is a place that meets ADA compliant standards and where many can enjoy their time regardless of their inabilities and limitations.
